Hi, friend! I pray all is well. As we are gearing up for the Thanksgiving Holiday, I pray you are met with peace, and the joy of the Lord. Some have lost loved ones, facing significant financial hardships and burdens due to the pandemic, and some have been stricken by social separation from their friends and family. All of which, are incredibly disheartening and overwhelming. As most have been faced with dis-ease this holiday season while having to adjust outside of traditional norms, I pray we can still find an element of good in it all. If you are reading this, that is indeed a blessing and deserving of gratitude. I’m so grateful for your life! Life itself is a precious and gracious gift from God, and for that, He is worthy to be praised. Please know that God is with you through your trials and hardships; you are never alone, sis! And because He’s a sovereign God, He can make all things work together for good, no matter how difficult they may seem. Isn’t that great news?
I know 2020 has been quite the year, to say the least, but God is still in it! So hold on. His Word tells us to count it all joy when we fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of faith produces patience. That we may be perfect and complete lacking nothing (James 1:2-4).
God is still in the blessing business and has a plan for your life. That hasn’t changed because of COVID. For the remainder of this year, especially tomorrow, I challenge you to keep a note of the blessings you receive – big and small. And then thank Him with a grateful heart!
O give thanks unto the Lord; For He is good; for His mercy endureth for ever. ~ 1 Chronicles 16:34
An attitude of Gratitude is a blessing in itself
Just in case you forgot, I want to remind you of how special you ARE! You ARE worthy, you ARE beautiful, you ARE royalty, you ARE a gift and gifted, you ARE blessed, and you ARE loved!
Be Encouraged!
Thanksgiving Giveback Update!
We'd like to extend a huge thank you for the contributions that were received toward our Thanksgiving giveback initiative. We were able to bless three families with gift cards and make a donation to a local food bank. I don't know if you've been keeping up with the news, but the demands for sustenance assistance has increased significantly this year. Statics show that more than 50 million people may experience food insecurity due to the pandemic. We thank God for the provisions and an opportunity to be a beacon of light. We are appreciative of the prayers and all of the support. It all matters. God is amazing!
